Executive Management
STEPHANIE KLASKY-GAMER, President and Chief
Executive Officer, leads L.A. Family Housing with over 15
years of experience in social and economic justice work and an in-depth
understanding of housing policy and development. As a native of the Los
Angeles area, Stephanie is sensitive to the needs of the community. As CEO,
Stephanie drives the organization to expand in its mission and is responsible
for all aspects of the agency, including finance, development, program management
and services. Stephanie received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University
of Michigan and her Masters in Urban Planning from the University of California-Los
Angeles.

RAY BARBER, Vice President of Finance and Administration/Chief
Financial Officer, joined LAFH as CFO in 1996, and after
being away from the agency for a few years, returned in 2005. He is a CPA
with 29 years of accounting experience, including five years with the international
firm of Ernst and Young. Additionally, Ray was the CFO for a private manufacturer
awarded #3 on Inc’s Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies and also
performed VP of Finance duties for a publicly held entertainment company. In 2008, Ray was recognized in the
San Fernando Valley Buisness Journal as "CFO of the Year" honoree.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California
at Santa Barbara.

CHRISTINE FERGUSON, Vice President of Programs,
is responsible for the oversight and management of L.A. Family Housing's
programs including operations of all temporary housing facilities, provision
of social services, volunteer coordination, and tenant services for the
agency's permanent affordable housing. With LAFH since 2000, she is also
responsible for securing the agency's public funding and managing subsequent
contracts. Christine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication
at the University of Utah and a Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch
University.

Program Management
KRIS FREED, Director of Programs, Comunidad
Cesar Chavez and Sydney M. Irmas
Transitional Living Center, joined LAFH in 2000. Kris manages
programs at LAFH’s Comunidad Cesar Chavez emergency shelter and at LAFH’s
Transitional Living Center serving homeless children and families. She is
a certified substance abuse counselor and is pursuing a degree in Sociology.

JOHN HORN, Director of Programs, Trudy
and Norman Louis Valley Shelter, has served with LAFH since
1996. John manages programs and staff at LAFH’s Transitional Living Center
serving homeless children and families. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State
University at Northridge.
