Homeownership

Over the last few years LAFH has partnered with The Enterprise Foundation, Citigroup and the Community Foundation Land Trust to place first-time homebuyers in single-family homes as well as rehabilitating homes. To date, LAFH has assisted in the rehabilitation of 20 single-family homes for purchase by low income families. In order to insure that clients working toward homeownership successfully develop the financial skills required to maintain their homes effectively, LAFH offers a homebuyer education program to assist clients with financial literacy and all facets of homeownership.
