LAFH employees, volunteers, friends and former residents joined over 4,000 people on Saturday, November 15 for United Way’s Homewalk 2008. We were honored to have one of our former residents, Kelley Rogers, speak to the crowd before the walking started. Kelley was joined on the main stage by L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Elise Buik (President and CEO of United Way L.A.), Council members Jan Perry and Wendy Greuel, County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky and L.A. Family Housing’s own CEO, Stephanie Klasky-Gamer.
