Christmas in the Spring - 2009
On Saturday, April 25th, 2009 children and families from L.A. Family Housing
participated in “Christmas in Spring”, sponsored by Universal
Studios Hollywood “Discover a Star” Foundation. The event celebrated
its 18th year with great festivities and plenty of “holiday cheer”
for all. Characters from Universal Studios Hollywood, including Dora the
Explorer, Curious George, SpongeBob SquarePants, Scooby Doo and Shaggy,
and Beetlejuice all entertained the children as they traveled throughout
the event. Santa Claus also dropped by to take pictures with the kids and
give each youngster a duffle-bag stuffed with presents.
