Donate (L.A. Family Housing)

The families of L.A. Family Housing (LAFH) seek your support to ensure the continued effective operation of the agency's life-changing programs and services. Help our families with a donation of money, food, clothing for adults and children of all ages, household and personal care items, office equipment, computers, professional services and volunteer time.

One of the best ways to help the homeless families and individuals we serve is by making a financial contribution. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Your thoughtful gift will be used where the need is the greatest.
Examples of uses include:

$5,000 underwrites one year of shelter and supportive services for one individual at the Trudy and Norman Louis Valley Shelter.

$1,000 provides three months of job preparation and job development for one person through our Back To Work program.

$500 underwrites four months of three healthy meals per day for adults and children rebuilding from homelessness.

$300 provides one month of shelter for one homeless family at our Transitional Living Center.

$150 provides needed hygiene items for 270 clients at Valley Shelter.

$50 provides one client family with one-on-one money management training at Comunidad Cesar Chavez.

$35 provides two nights of shelter for one homeless person at Valley Shelter
