Our 13th annual Dessert Party took place on June 15, 2002 at 8 PM on the New York City Street of Paramount Studios. Showtime Networks, Inc. hosted the event, as they have since 1994. Over 1,500 guests were treated to a fabulous array of desserts from over 140 local Los Angeles restaurants. The event also featured an open bar, a casino, and live musical performances. Salma Hayek and Albert Brooks attended the event, showing support for LAFH’s mission.

This exciting event raised over $110,000 to support programs and services to improve the lives of poor, hard-working families and help them make a smooth transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
